Healing is For You!

Christians in manyways have begun to acceptthings in their bodies that Jesus paid for at the cross. In 1Corinthians11:29 "...notdiscerning the Lord's body."Paultalks about rightly discerning the Lord's Body, that is what this pageis dedicated to looking at that Body and what Jesus paid for all of us.Divine Healing or God provided Healing is not a new concept, or only aNew Testament concept. If you look in the Bible all the way back in Exodus15:26 "If youdiligently heed the voice ofthe LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to Hiscommandmentsand keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you whichI have brought on the Egyptians. For I [am] the LORD who heals you"God promised the Israelites that if they would obey Him they would bediseasefree. In Numbers 21:5-9  "And thepeople spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us upout of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For [there is] no food and nowater,and our soul loathes this worthless bread." So the LORD sent fieryserpentsamong the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people ofIsraeldied. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned,forwe have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD thatHe take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people.Thenthe LORD said to Moses, "Make a fiery [serpent], and set it on a pole;and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shalllive." So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so itwas, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronzeserpent,he lived." the Israelites were grumbling againstGod and walkingin disobedience, but God gave them away to be freed from their sin andto be healed. He told Moses to make a bronze serpent and lift it up andall they looked to it would be healed. Seems like a simple thing to doto receive healing, but that's the way God does things. We try to makethings so hard that they become unattainable in our minds.
 

 

God also providedhealing for you and Iin our lives today, and again it is such a simple plan that we have ahardtime receiving it because it is to easy.
Isaiah 53:4-5says this: "SurelyHe has borne our grief's, And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Himstricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for ourtransgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace wasuponHim, And by His stripes we are healed."Here in Isaiahit is telling of things to come after Jesus is crucified and raisedfromthe dead. In 2 Peter 2:24 "whoHimself bore oursins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, mightlivefor righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed." Itdoesnot say maybe healed or might be healed it says we were healed, pasttense.

 

   If I go down to thesaddle shop and pay for a saddle, and were to come over to your houseandtell you that all you had to do, is go down and pick up that saddle andit was yours, you have a choice to make. That choice right now in yourmind seems pretty simple. Do I go down and get the saddle, or do I justlet it sit there and wish I had it? Often, when we need healing, wemightsay or wish that God would heal me. Oh God would you please heal me.Godwhy won't you heal me? We just read where it says by His stripes I washealed!

 

Lets look at Mark11:22-23 "SoJesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, Isayto you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into thesea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those thingshesays will be done, he will have whatever he says."Jesus saidto receive, "Have faith inGod." Let'sstop there for a minute and look at the meaning of faith, because thatcan be the stumbling block to our receiving.

 

In the Greek, theNewTestament was writtenin the meaning of faith was this; Conviction, confidence,trustworthiness,and persuasion.

 

The Strong's says inthe New Testament, setting faith is the divinely implanted principle of inward confidence,assurance, trust, and reliance in God and all that He says.Manytimes where believers go wrong is the faith comes from their ability,itdoesn't say that at all. The ability has already been furnished by God.All I must do is accept it, my confidence is in God not me. Faith meansconfidence. Worrel's Translation says it this way "Havethe Faith of God" That makes it easier toreceive can you seeGod doubting? If I apply the faith of God then it becomes easy to seetheanswer.

 

Back nowto Mark and what Jesus was saying "Forassuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed andbe cast in to the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believesthatthose things that he says will be done, he will have what ever he says".Didyou ever take these verses and try to apply them in a way that you knewwasn't God's will or intended use for them? What you do when you trytheWord in a place that we know is not God's will, is that we setourselvesup to fail, when we fail we hurtour faith.

 

It is God'swill for His people to walk in Divine Health! When the enemy try's toputsickness on God's people they don't need to ask if it is His will, orpray" God heal me". We have the God given right to speak to that sickness,that it be removed and this is what will happen. Look at IJohn 5:14-15"Nowthis is the confidence that we have in HIM, that if we ask anythingaccordingto His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever weask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we have ask of Him."Johndid not say we might have them, he said thisis the confidence that we have in HIM. or this is the FAITH that wehavein GOD.

 

 Wehave the God given right, God paid for our right to walk in completeandtotal heath. If God paid for it and God then gave it to us, then it ISHis Will for us to have it.

 

It is justas simple as going down to pick up that already paid for saddle, justgoand get it. See if I go get that saddle and don't believe that it's outin the tack room, all I have to do is go out and look at it, then I cansee I do have possession of it. With healing all I have to do is lookinThe Word and I can see that I have possession of it. I'll finish withthisRomans 10:17 says "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by TheWord ofGod." So faith or confidence, comes by going and looking, andseeingthat you DO have the right to possess DIVINEHEALTHand so you see you do havethe right to be healed.
